Salmon Arm West Highway 1

Project Description:  The Salmon Arm West Highway One project is part of the Highway 1 Kamloops to Alberta program. The project comprises of widening a 2.2 km section of highway to four lanes from 1st Ave. SW to 10th Ave. SW in Salmon Arm.

Springline involvement:

Includes construction of roughly 1km of new highway, 100,000m3 of granular road base movement/placement, construction of two new bridge structures, one of which spans the Salmon Arm River and associated safety improvements to intersections and frontage roads.

Other improvements include:

• Construction of a new interchange
•  Constructing new frontage roads and a multi-use pathway
• Constructing of Two roundabouts
• Construction of new water/sanitary lines
