Regina Waste Water Treatment Plant

Project Description: Construction of the new Regina Waste Water Treatment Plant, a P3 project with Graham Lockerbie Stanley, Epcor and the City of Regina.

Springline Involvement:

Springline Construction was engaged GLS to install all deep utilities pertaining to the upgrade of the new Regina WWTP. As well as all drainage, excavation and backfill of the lagoon upgrading portion of the project.

Including:

• Installation of 1350dia, 1200dia, 1050dia, 900dia and 500dia Reinforced fiberglass pipe.
• Dredging and backfilling of 25 acre lagoon complete with 11,000 meters of perforated pipe and related pump station.
• Mobilizing crews and equipment from the lower mainland to Regina.
• Challenges included coordinating activities with numerous other subcontractors within the confines of a working wastewater treatment plant
• Value: $ 5,400,000
